A.K. ENGINEERING is a Turnkey Contractor for installation, overhaul & repairs of Electrical Motors, Generators and Pumps. We undertake all electro-mechanical works pertaining to the above from inception to design, planning and execution. Following is the brief profile of the company.

A.K. ENGINEERING started its business in 1981, with repairing & maintenance of Electrical Equipment, especially motors, generators & pumps in Shipbuilding / Ship repair Industry. The company has evolved from mere Electrical repairs to Electro-Mechanical installations, fabrication, refurbishment and repairs. The expertise and the experience built up over the years have earned us a reputation for quality and in-time completion of complex jobs. The strategic location of our workshop and office at Dockyard Road, in the close proximity of Mazagon Dock Ltd, Mumbai Port Trust and Naval Dockyard affords us the ability to move quickly to attend any emergency requirements for our clients.

A.K. Engineering is capable of providing all kinds of Electro-Mechanical Engineering services to the marine industry. This includes overhauling of motors, pumps, valves, generators; winding of motors of all capacities; refurbishment of Electrical Control panels, laying of power, lighting and control cables, etc. A team of qualified and experienced engineers, supervisors and tradesmen who have carried out turnkey projects across the various industries, such as Shipbuilding, Ship repair, Process Industries, Industrial complexes etc, are available with us. This team is compact and can be mobilized at short notice to carry out projects anywhere in the country.

We are registered contractors for carrying out Electrical/Mechanical repairs, overhauling of motors/pumps, installation of new motors/pumps, laying of cables, fabrication and installation of control panels etc on Warships and on Merchant Ships. We are registered for the above with Naval Dockyard, Mumbai Port Trust, Indian Coast Guards, Shipping Corporation of India and South India Shipping (A) Corporation Ltd.

Our company has successfully obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification (Certificate No. 0201003 dated 15 January 2002) from Moody International Certifications.
